Currently, she is working towards a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education and hoping to take a Masters in Speech Pathology. She has studied and enjoyed some linguistics classes. She holds a Dean's List average and has received many awards for her academics including the Academic Silver award, Henry Baker Scholarship, and other Entrance Scholarships. She was born in Saskatchewan and has resided here since, yet hopes to travel once she completes her education. Her philosophy of education is that all students should be heard, valued and given the space to learn. She values critical thinking and applied knowledge and believes that the things we learn should be used in daily life. Her lessons focus on conversation skills and put the learning into practice to keep students motivated and engaged. A strong focus on listening and speaking helps students to excel with their English. Karlee’s friendly attitude keeps lessons fun and interesting while still challenging students.
